Speciality: Wine & Sunday Buffet Arthur Cavallineas started his career as a restauranteur in the kitchen and his passion for food and innovation saw him open 21 restaurants in his 30-year career in the industry. 27 years ago he opened Villa Bianca Mediterranean Cuisine & Sushi Restaurant which was the very first of his 21 restaurants.
The Restaurant combines an elegant and innovative upmarket approach and is known for incredible food with phenomenal wine pairings and unsurpassed personal service. Villa Bianca has a new menu incorporating Sushi and emphasis is on fresh imported Scottish Salmon as well as fresh export quality Tuna, both of which are now available on the normal menu in the form of Grilled Salmon, Seared Tuna Steak, or the delicious Tuna Espatada. Another favourite is Fillet on the Bone prepared in a“Chateau Briand Style”, topped with pan-fried Camembert Cheese and a Cranberry reduction. Old favourites such as the Greek Kleftiko Lamb Shank, Live Oysters, Pizza, Pasta and affordable Shellfish are still on the menu. The Sunday lunch and dinner 5-star buffet including a variety of hot and cold starters, Sirloin and Gammon carvery, Kleftiko Lamb, Oxtail, Beef, Chicken, Shellfish, Roast Potatoes, Vegetables, Tiramisu and other desserts available every Sunday (R169 per person). Villa Bianca boasts 4 magnificent function venues which have no hiring fee are perfect for both corporate and private functions. They are in the process of building a conference centre to host bigger events.
Facilities include a bar, lounge and distinctive dining with conference facilities and adjoining VIP Private Function Venue with very secure parking. The cocktail lounge is stylishly decorated in an enchanting courtyard setting with a fountain to complete the contemporary style.
The restaurant offers uncompromising standards in food, wine and is well known for its outstanding consistency of superior service by attentive staff. They are the proud recipients of a platinum award in The Diners Club International 2008, 2009, 2013 and 2019 Wine List of the year awards.
