Gentleman hosted to luxury event in Nairobi.

Luxuria Lifestyle East Africa curated an exclusive gentleman’s event that showcased a selection of luxury brands including cars, fashion accessories and outdoor furniture available in Kenya. The event designed to celebrate the man with discerning taste was held at Simba Corporation’s state-of-the-art Aspire Centre in Westlands, Nairobi.

The evening christened ‘The Ultimate Gentleman’ is one in a series of luxury showcases set to take place in the region.

Simba Corporation displayed the BMW 2018 X3, the luxurious and highly advanced 7 Series and 5 Series models. Aside from the sumptuous interiors now expected in BMW vehicles, guests had the unique opportunity to stretch out at the back of the BMW 7 Series and marvel at the self-parking demonstration. Michael De Souza, BMW brand manager also introduced the BMW bike range and welcomed those present to the opportunity to evade Nairobi’s now infamous traffic.

The evening would not have been complete without some fine apparel – Quintessence Tailor, a new Kenyan based bespoke service gave the gentlemen a glimpse into the world ‘made-to-measure’ suits. Derek Bhanga, Quintessence Tailor’s brand ambassador, demonstrated how to show up with impeccable style and confidence.

To celebrate Africa’s great weather Proshade Kenya introduced an exciting range of outdoor furniture and shading solutions. Proshade used this event to launch the Fusion Table, a dual-purpose dining table that transforms into a pool table. The gentlemen present were challenged to game of pool. Moses Mburu, Proshade Kenya’s CEO reiterated that Kenyans and Africans must take advantage of the excellent climate to upgrade their outdoors. He added that Proshade’s bespoke outdoor furniture solutions are durable, steeped in quality and sourced from leading international brands that include Corradi, Renson, Fusion Tables, Tekwud Decking and Unopiu.

Lintons Beauty introduced Tom Ford’s private blend collection and gifted all the ladies with a complimentary makeover from Estee Lauder.

The night was crowned by a well-­deserved toast courtesy of Warsteiner, Germany’s leading beer brand. Managing Director, Ngugi Kiuna of Maxam confirmed that this refreshing pale golden Pilsener has a clean taste perfectly blended with hints of barley malt with a subtle bottom fermenting yeast tones. He said the beer is available across the country to ensure all consumers have access to a fine beverage, brewed with passion.

The event auctioned  luxury products and donated the proceeds to the Furaha Centre for children with Cerebral Palsy and Autism in Meru.
